At Leggett & Platt, we believe in supporting the communities where our employees live and work. Recently, our employee resource group, W:ISE, demonstrated that commitment by leading a company-wide blood drive to support local communities through lifesaving blood donations.

W:ISE’s mission is to elevate diverse perspectives, celebrate individual contributions, foster personal and professional growth, strengthen support networks, build allyship, and drive positive organizational change throughout the company. In support of that mission, W:ISE organized blood drives in Carthage, Missouri, and at Davidson Plyforms in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Thanks to the generosity of employees at both locations, 64 units of blood were collected, surpassing the established donation goals. Building on the success of the recent event, Davidson Plyforms has already scheduled another blood drive for December.

These efforts reflect the culture we strive to foster across Leggett & Platt. Giving back is an important part of who we are, and we remain committed to making a meaningful difference in the communities our employees call home.
