We were proud to help sponsor a leadership conference in Carthage, Missouri, that brought together local professionals for an inspiring morning of forward-thinking conversations. Events like this help our employees and community members feel empowered to leave a lasting impact wherever they go in life.

Centered around the theme “Embracing the Change,” the event highlighted adaptive leadership, AI adoption, building resilience, and more. Many of our employees attended and two of them were speakers!

Megan Marin, IT Collaboration Tools Manager, led a session on using AI to work smarter: “Even those new to AI can use LLMs – like Copilot, GhatGPT, or Claude – to get ideas on how they can work smarter and learn new skills,” she shared. “My top prompt tip would be to ask AI how it can help. Include some details like your job duties, role, or explain a pain point at work in your prompt.”

Katelyn Pierce, Strategic Planning Analyst, answered questions on generations in leadership as part of a panel discussion. When asked to give the audience one action to strengthen their leadership skills, she said, “Build others up and give recognition where it is due. We can’t accomplish things on your own – it’s a team effort.”
