Josie Halasinski, Machine Operator at L&P, has been a dedicated team member of our Moiron branch in Sparta, Michigan, for 25 years. Today, we’re proud to celebrate an important milestone in her life. After many years of encouragement from her family and two years of study, Josie is now a United States citizen!

Born in the Philippines, Josie came to the U.S. in 1989. When asked about her journey to citizenship, Josie shared, “If I can do it, you can do it.”

Denise Johnson, Branch Manager at Moiron, attended her naturalization ceremony. To celebrate, our Moiron team hosted a party after the ceremony.

Josie looks forward to embracing the opportunities that come with U.S. citizenship, such as participating in elections and being able to safely travel to the Philippines to reconnect with her aunts and uncles.
